In this role, you’ll take full ownership of an assigned processing area during the night shift — balancing staffing decisions, production targets, service quality, and health and safety compliance. It’s a hands-on supervisory position that calls for clear communication, sharp problem-solving, and a steady presence under pressure.

About the Role: Supervisor, Mail Processing

As a Mail Processing Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient management of all mail processing activities within your assigned section during the night shift. That means developing daily and weekly plans, monitoring staffing levels in real time, adjusting workflows to meet service commitments, and keeping your team aligned with plant operating targets. You’ll be the go-to person when equipment fails, when anomalies arise, or when staffing needs to be reshuffled mid-shift.

You’ll also play a meaningful role in workplace health and safety, including coaching employees on safe work practices, conducting inspections and investigations, and managing return-to-work processes. On the people side, you’ll administer HR processes like performance management, attendance management, and first-level grievance handling in consultation with Labour Relations and union representatives.
