About the Role: Stocker

The Stocker is responsible for maintaining high merchandise levels, creating organized displays, and ensuring the sales floor is clean and debris-free. You’ll work closely with supervisors and managers to implement merchandising plans and assist members by providing product knowledge and support. This is a dynamic role perfect for those who enjoy hands-on work in a retail setting.

From stocking opened cases to rewrapping pallets, this position ensures the warehouse is always member-ready and upholds Costco’s high standards for safety and quality.

Responsibilities of a Stocker

• Stock and straighten merchandise on shelves, aligning with merchandising standards and practices.
• Communicate with supervisors to determine priorities and plan merchandising strategies.
• Use tools such as box knives and pallet jacks to unpack and position products safely.
• Maintain accurate signage and labeling, ensuring all products are correctly marked and displayed.
• Set up and modify display models for safe handling and member convenience.
• Clear debris from sales floors and operate cardboard bailers and trash compactors as needed.
• Assist members with large items, direct them to products, and provide product knowledge.
• Adhere to all safety and security procedures to maintain a hazard-free environment.
