Sr. Solutions Architect (Bilingual) – Amazon – Toronto, ON
Location: Toronto, ON | Company: Amazon
Amazon’s Alexa International team is hiring a Senior Solutions Architect (Bilingual) based in Toronto, Ontario — a founding-team role at the heart of one of the company’s most forward-looking AI initiatives. If you’re a technically deep engineer who also thrives in strategic conversations, and you speak English plus Spanish, Portuguese, or Canadian French, this is worth a close look.
This position puts you at the centre of Alexa+’s third-party integration program across the Americas, working closely with strategic partners in Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. You’ll guide partner engineering teams through complex agentic architecture designs, oversee integrations from first technical contact through to production launch, and help shape the playbooks that will define how Amazon scales this program to hundreds of partners.
About the Role: Sr. Solutions Architect – Bilingual, Alexa International
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you’ll serve as the technical face of Amazon for its most strategic third-party partners in the Americas. Your work will span end-to-end integration design — from backend services and API layers to front-end rendering — using modern protocols such as MCP, tool-calling, and REST. You’ll own the full integration lifecycle and be hands-on with partner teams to assess readiness, architect solutions, and troubleshoot challenges across multiple device surfaces including Echo devices, mobile, Fire TV, and Alexa.com.
Beyond delivery, this role carries a scalable enablement mandate: you’ll build reusable integration patterns, reference architectures, and onboarding documentation that reduce the need for one-on-one engagement over time. You’ll also collaborate directly with Amazon’s internal product leadership during early capability formation, using real partner learnings to influence the Alexa+ roadmap. This is a founding contributor position — the patterns you establish will set the standard for how Amazon works with partners across categories for years to come.
Benefits and Salary
This position offers a base salary range of $146,000 to $211,600 CAD annually for the Toronto location. Amazon’s total compensation package may also include sign-on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), with final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and location. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life and AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and additional wellness resources.
