You’ll partner closely with AWS solution architects, legal teams, and compliance stakeholders to move complex, multi-stakeholder deals from engagement to close.

This role also carries a significant relationship-building mandate. You’ll serve as the voice of the customer within AWS, champion customer satisfaction, and provide executive-level business updates as part of AWS’s operating cadences. Benefits and Salary

The base salary range for this position is $176,000 to $293,900 CAD annually for Toronto-based candidates. Amazon’s total compensation package may also include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. The company provides a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, and basic life & AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and additional resources to support health and well-being.

Responsibilities

This role spans strategic planning, team leadership, and direct customer engagement across Canada’s financial services sector. Requirements / Skills

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in technology sales leadership with a specific understanding of how Canada’s financial services sector operates. AWS is looking for someone who can engage credibly at the executive level while also understanding the technical and regulatory nuances that shape FSI buying decisions.

  • 10+ years of experience in technology-related sales, business development, or sales engineering/consulting
  • 5+ years leading high-performing sales teams, including managing people leaders
  • Proven revenue management track record with a consistent history of exceeding sales targets
  • Financial Services sales experience, including familiarity with Canadian regulatory and compliance landscapes
  • CxO/VP-level engagement skills with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions
  • Experience in matrixed organizations with the ability to influence strategy across teams (preferred)
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree considered an asset
  • Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms, particularly in regulated industry sectors (preferred)
