About the Role: Senior Manager, Sales – Canada ISV
As the Senior Sales Manager for the Canada ISV segment, your core mandate is to grow AWS adoption across a portfolio of hyper-growth technology companies. You’ll build and manage a team of experienced Account Managers, fostering engagements at the CXO level while driving revenue growth, market penetration, and cloud adoption across the region. You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners in marketing, inside sales, legal, and technical roles to deliver results.

Benefits and Salary
The base salary range for this position in Toronto, ON is $176,000 to $293,900 CAD annually. As part of Amazon’s total compensation approach, the package may also include sign-on payments, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Amazon provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life and AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and additional resources to support health and well-being. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and location.

Responsibilities
This role carries significant organizational responsibility — you’ll be both a strategic leader and a hands-on builder. Your day-to-day will involve coaching your sales team, managing executive-level customer relationships, and ensuring your team executes against a well-defined geographic growth plan. - Build and manage a highly talented team of Account Managers focused on driving cloud revenue and adoption across the Canada ISV segment
- Define and execute a comprehensive geographic sales plan that consistently meets or exceeds revenue and input goal targets
- Lead engagements at the CXO level, representing AWS as a key strategic technology platform partner to hyper-growth companies
- Drive market penetration by identifying new opportunities within the local geography and developing strategies to capture them
- Collaborate cross-functionally with inside sales, technical, marketing, segmentation, and legal teams to accelerate customer success
- Position AWS capabilities — including AI and machine learning solutions — as business transformation enablers for customers navigating technology transitions

Requirements / Skills
AWS is looking for a seasoned sales leader with a strong foundation in enterprise technology sales management and a proven ability to develop high-performing teams. The ideal candidate combines deep CXO-level relationship experience with the strategic mindset to own and grow a regional business. A background navigating complex technology transitions — particularly in AI and machine learning — is a significant asset.
- 15+ years of experience in technology-related sales, business development, or equivalent roles
- 5+ years of sales team management experience, including managing large, complex enterprise accounts
- CXO-level presentation skills — experience working directly with C-level executives, IT leadership, and lines of business across large organizations
- Sales pipeline management expertise, with a track record of driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience (Master’s degree or MBA is preferred)
- Experience with AI/ML technology transitions, and the ability to position agentic AI as a business transformation enabler (preferred)
- Cross-functional leadership experience — working through and with inside sales, technical, marketing, and legal teams (preferred)
