Role of the SDE II
As an SDE II at Amazon Today, you will have direct ownership over designing new software components that enhance the platform’s extensibility, scalability, availability, and latency.
You will collaborate with multiple teams across Amazon to build next-generation systems that enable rapid experimentation and deliver exceptional user experiences.

Compensation & Benefits
The base salary for this position ranges from $129,300 to $223,600 per year, depending on your location, experience, and skills. Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience in system design or architecture.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices for the full development lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
