Toronto’s Amazon Advertising team is looking for a driven Sales Account Manager to manage advertiser relationships across the Automotive, Telecommunications, and Financial Services verticals. About the Role: Sales Account Manager
In this position, you’ll own and grow a portfolio of existing advertisers while identifying new revenue opportunities. You’ll develop annual brand and media strategies, create audience targeting recommendations, and evaluate campaign KPIs with a genuinely data-driven approach. The role requires deep expertise in digital advertising, comfort with large data sets, and an ability to translate insights into clear, actionable client recommendations.
This is a highly cross-functional role — you’ll collaborate regularly with Creative, Sales, Product, and Retail partners at Amazon. Success here depends on your ability to build strong client relationships while also working fluidly across internal teams to drive incremental revenue and improve advertiser satisfaction.
Benefits and Salary
This position offers a base salary range of $99,800 to $149,800 CAD annually for the Toronto location. As part of Amazon’s total compensation approach, the package may also include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives where applicable. Benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life and AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and additional resources to support health and well-being. Final compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and location.

Responsibilities

- Create campaign strategies and audience targeting recommendations tailored to client goals
- Evaluate KPIs and optimize campaign performance using a data-driven approach
- Perform in-depth data analysis to deliver short- and long-term advertising strategy recommendations
- Educate advertisers on performance metrics, category trends, and consumer insights
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Creative, Product, and Retail partners to drive incremental revenue
Requirements / Skills

- 4+ years of experience in digital advertising and client-facing roles
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Hands-on experience with display advertising, campaign optimization, analytics platforms, and business development
- Data analysis skills — demonstrated ability to interpret large data sets and provide actionable recommendations
- Experience delivering results through partnerships, including working with or for an advertising agency
- Exceptional communication skills — both verbal and written, across client and internal audiences
- Advanced MS Office proficiency — particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Preferred: experience in programmatic advertising, Salesforce proficiency, and strong analytical background
