Responsibilities

In this role, your day revolves around reliable and accurate mail delivery to rural and suburban customers in the Rivière-Rouge area. From sorting incoming items to navigating local roads in all kinds of weather, your work directly supports the communities Canada Post serves.

  • Deliver mail and parcels safely and on time to customers along assigned routes
  • Sort and collect mail items in an organized and efficient manner

  • Maintain working knowledge of local roads, customers, and delivery receptacles
  • Process Canada Post products and services including Change of Address Notifications, Damaged Mail, and Items Delivered Bills
  • Wear Canada Post identification visibly at all times while delivering and collecting mail
  • Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lb / 22.7 kg
  • Ensure all mail is safely secured in your possession throughout the delivery route
