Responsibilities

• Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lb (22.7 kg) as part of regular daily duties
• Operate a motor vehicle safely in all types of weather and traffic conditions

• Valid provincial driver’s licence — Class 5 or G, permanent (not learner’s or probationary)
• Satisfactory safe driving record — a current driver’s abstract dated within the last 30 days will be required
• Personal vehicle meeting cargo requirements — minimum 50 cu ft (1,415 L) cargo capacity, automatic transmission, power windows, metal roof, and accessory power outlet
• Automobile liability insurance — must provide and maintain coverage for use of your vehicle, and notify your insurer of its use for Canada Post
• Previous experience in deliveries and operating a vehicle in varied weather and traffic conditions
• Ability to pass a pre-employment test and interview as part of the selection process
