Remodel Host – Walmart – Vaughan, ON

Walmart Canada’s store in Vaughan, Ontario is looking for a Remodel Host to help guide customers through an evolving store layout. This is a full-time temporary position running until November 27, 2026, making it a great short-term opportunity to build your retail experience with one of Canada’s largest employers.

In this role, you’ll be the friendly face customers encounter while navigating areas undergoing renovation or relocation. Your day-to-day will involve proactive customer engagement, keeping shoppers informed and pointing them in the right direction — all while supporting the store’s remodel activities behind the scenes.

About the Role: Remodel Host

As a Remodel Host at Walmart Vaughan, your primary focus is helping customers find what they’re looking for during the store’s ongoing transformation. You’ll approach customers openly, explain what’s changing, and direct them to relocated merchandise with confidence and a positive attitude.

Beyond customer-facing duties, you’ll maintain a solid understanding of company policies on damaged and recalled merchandise, assist with returning non-purchased items from the courtesy desk to their proper departments, and stay current on all new store programs and systems as they roll out.

This position starts at a minimum rate of $17.75 per hour. • Guide customers around relocated or under-construction areas of the store, ensuring a smooth and frustration-free shopping experience
• Proactively approach customers to advise them of ongoing store changes and renovations
• Direct shoppers to items that have been moved to new locations throughout the store
• Stay informed about which areas are under construction and communicate knowledgeably about current and upcoming changes
• Follow company policies related to handling damaged and recalled merchandise accurately and consistently
• Implement new store programs and systems as they are introduced, ensuring continuous compliance
• Assist the courtesy desk by returning non-purchased items to their correct departments
