Remodel Host – Walmart – Vaughan, ON

Walmart’s store in Vaughan, Ontario is looking for a Remodel Host to join the team on a full-time temporary contract running through November 27, 2026. This front-facing role puts you right at the centre of an exciting in-store transformation, helping customers navigate changes as the store undergoes a remodel.

As a Remodel Host, you’ll be the go-to person for shoppers who need a helping hand finding products that have moved or are in the process of being relocated. It’s a role that blends customer service with an insider’s knowledge of store operations — keeping the shopping experience smooth even when things are shifting around.

About the Role: Remodel Host

The core of this position is proactive customer engagement. Rather than waiting for customers to come to you with questions, you’ll take the initiative — approaching shoppers on the floor, informing them about ongoing changes, and directing them confidently to newly relocated merchandise. You’ll need to stay current on which areas of the store are under construction or have recently moved.

Beyond customer guidance, you’ll also support the broader remodel effort by assisting with returning non-purchased items from the courtesy desk back to their proper departments. Familiarity with Walmart’s policies on damaged and recalled merchandise is expected, and you’ll be responsible for ensuring that new store programs and systems are implemented correctly and followed consistently.

Benefits and Salary

This position starts at a minimum rate of $17.75 per hour.
