Product Manager, Alexa Canada – Amazon – Toronto, ON
Location: Toronto, ON | Company: Amazon
Toronto’s tech scene has a compelling opening: Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC is hiring a Product Manager for Alexa Canada, based in Toronto, Ontario. If you’re someone who gets genuinely excited about artificial intelligence, generative AI, and ambient computing, this is a role worth paying close attention to. You’d be leading the expansion of Alexa+ in Canada — a product that’s actively shaping how people interact with technology every day.
This is far from a routine product management post. The work spans business strategy, product definition, and program delivery — often all at once. You’ll own the end-to-end customer experience for Alexa Canada across Echo, FireTV, and beyond, collaborating with engineering, marketing, legal, and business development teams to ensure every Canadian customer — English and French-speaking alike — has access to a world-class Alexa experience.
About the Role: Product Manager, Alexa Canada
As the Product Manager for Alexa Canada, you’ll take ownership of customer-facing experiences with real complexity — where the problem, opportunity, and strategy aren’t always handed to you. You’ll define product roadmaps, write crisp business requirements, and translate strategic vision into actionable plans that cross-functional teams can actually execute. You’ll monitor KPIs, analyze usage data and market trends, and use AI tools to accelerate insight generation and decision-making.
A big part of this role is balancing competing priorities — compliance, localization, and accessibility — while never losing sight of the customer experience. You’ll champion both English and French Canadian customers, ensuring Alexa feels locally relevant and trustworthy across both locales. You’ll also be expected to evaluate technical proposals critically, understand how agentic AI systems are reshaping product development, and surface risks before commitments are made.
Benefits and Salary
The base salary range for this position is $83,100 to $138,800 CAD annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon’s total compensation package may also include sign-on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Benefits include comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life and AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and additional resources to support health and well-being.
