If you enjoy working with the public, thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, and are comfortable handling cash transactions, this on-call opportunity could be a solid fit.

About the Role: Post Office Assistant (Term)

As a Post Office Assistant, your day-to-day will revolve around customer service at the counter and behind the scenes mail handling. You’ll be selling postal products, processing transactions, sorting mail, and helping customers navigate any delivery or service issues they run into. The work is hands-on and varied, so no two shifts look exactly the same.

Because this is an on-call, term position, flexibility is key. You should be available to step in as needed across any of the seven post offices in the region. The role also comes with some physical demands — you’ll be on your feet for extended periods and may need to lift mail containers weighing up to 50 lbs, so being in good physical condition is important.
