About the Role: Post Office Assistant
As a Post Office Assistant, your day-to-day will revolve around delivering excellent counter service to members of the public and the local business community. When delivery or service issues arise, you’ll be expected to address them promptly and thoroughly.

Responsibilities
Working at the post office counter, you’ll handle a range of tasks that keep Canada Post running smoothly for local residents and businesses. Each responsibility plays a direct role in maintaining the quality and reliability of postal services in the community.
- Sell postal products and services to the public and local business community
- Sort and distribute incoming mail into the appropriate classifications accurately and efficiently

- Resolve delivery and service difficulties in a thorough and timely manner
- Handle cash transactions and operate point-of-sale systems as part of counter service
Requirements / Skills
