Job Summary & Tips for Applying

AI-generated summary and tips to help you highlight your strengths effectively.

Quick Summary & What to Highlight: This Pharmacy Student job at Costco in Vaughan is a supervised pharmacy role paying $22.00 an hour. Put your enrolment in an approved pharmacy program and your College registration as a pharmacy student first, since both are required. If you have community pharmacy experience or have used Kroll, list it next to the prescription entry and filling duties.

Resume & Application Tips: Name your pharmacy program, your year of study and your College registration at the top of the resume. Any past work that involved counting or labelling medications, entering orders into software or serving customers at a counter relates directly to the duties here, so give it its own line. A measurable example shows the format: “Entered and verified prescriptions for a community pharmacy serving about 100 patients a day.” Use a figure only if it is true for you.

Interview Preparation: Prepare one or two real examples from your own experience that match the prescription filling and patient service duties, and be ready to explain when you would hand a question to the pharmacist. Expect to talk about working in a fast paced environment and as part of a team. The posting gives no schedule or hours per week, so ask what shifts and weekly hours a student can expect, and how they fit around your classes.
