Responsibilities

In this Part-Time Package Handler role, you’ll be performing essential warehouse tasks that keep freight moving efficiently through the FedEx Saint John facility. These responsibilities are critical to maintaining the speed and accuracy that FedEx customers depend on every day.

  • Load and unload freight from vehicles and at dock doors within the facility
  • Scan and sort packages accurately to ensure proper routing and on-time delivery
  • Transport freight within and between facilities using appropriate equipment
  • Lift packages up to 70 lbs independently, and manoeuvre shipments up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
  • Complete all mandatory training and maintain required certifications and annual accreditations
  • Operate in a PC Windows environment as needed to support scanning and tracking functions
  • Adapt to varying shift requirements based on business and operational needs

Requirements / Skills

  • Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset (preferred)
  • Availability Monday through Friday, 4:00 AM to 10:00 AM (hours may shift based on operational needs)
