FedEx is one of Canada’s most recognized logistics and courier companies, and they’re currently hiring a Package Handler/Non-Driver at their Saint-Bruno, Quebec facility. About the Role: Package Handler/Non-Driver

As a Package Handler at FedEx in Saint-Bruno, your core responsibilities involve loading and unloading freight, as well as scanning and sorting packages within the facility. It’s a role that demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-moving environment. The position is located at 1100 Rue Parent, Saint-Bruno, QC J3V 6L8.

You’ll be expected to follow FedEx Canada operations procedures and adhere to Canadian Customs regulations. Safety, accuracy, and teamwork are central to how FedEx facilities operate, and every package handler plays a key role in that process. Because this position is based in Quebec, bilingualism in French and English is required.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day work in this role keeps the FedEx supply chain running on schedule. Each task you perform — from loading a truck to scanning a parcel — directly impacts the customer experience and the efficiency of the entire network. Accuracy and physical readiness are essential at every step.

• Load and unload freight from trailers and delivery vehicles within the facility
• Scan and sort packages accurately to ensure proper routing and delivery
• Handle packages safely, including items weighing up to 70 lbs independently and up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
• Complete all mandatory training, including basic and recurrency training requirements
• Operate in a PC Windows environment as required for scanning and data entry tasks
• Maintain annual accreditations and complete recurrence training as applicable
• Work varying shifts based on operational business needs

Requirements / Skills

FedEx is looking for reliable, physically capable individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced warehouse-like setting. Candidates who are comfortable with repetitive physical tasks, work well within a team, and take safety seriously will do well in this environment. Bilingualism in French and English is required for this Quebec-based position.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Bilingual (French and English) required for Quebec-based applicants
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Physical ability to lift 70 lbs and manoeuvre packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
• Ability to pass mandatory testing and training to meet minimum performance thresholds
