Responsibilities
Day-to-day work in this role keeps the FedEx supply chain running on schedule. Each task you perform — from loading a truck to scanning a parcel — directly impacts the customer experience and the efficiency of the entire network. Accuracy and physical readiness are essential at every step.
- Load and unload freight from trailers and delivery vehicles within the facility
- Scan and sort packages accurately to ensure proper routing and delivery
- Handle packages safely, including items weighing up to 70 lbs independently and up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
- Complete all mandatory training, including basic and recurrency training requirements
- Operate in a PC Windows environment as required for scanning and data entry tasks
- Maintain annual accreditations and complete recurrence training as applicable
- Work varying shifts based on operational business needs
Requirements / Skills
