Responsibilities

The day-to-day work centres on keeping freight moving accurately and on time through the facility. Each task plays a direct role in ensuring customers and businesses across Canada receive their shipments when expected.

  • Load and unload freight at the facility as part of daily operations
  • Scan and sort packages to ensure accurate routing and processing
  • Lift and manoeuvre packages weighing up to 70 lbs independently, and up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
  • Complete all required training, including basic and recurrency training, and maintain annual accreditations where applicable
  • Operate within a Windows PC environment as needed during shifts
  • Follow safety protocols and FedEx Canada operations procedures, including compliance with Canadian Customs regulations
  • Adapt to varying shifts based on business needs as required

Requirements / Skills
