About the Role: Package Handler – Import

As a Package Handler on the Import team, your core responsibility is keeping freight moving efficiently through the facility. You’ll be involved in loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages throughout your shift. Depending on the task at hand, you may also operate heavy machinery to support warehouse operations. Every shift is fast-paced, and you’ll be expected to follow UPS package handling methods correctly and consistently.

This position requires solid physical stamina and the ability to work as part of a team-oriented warehouse environment. Given the Lachine location, the primary working language is French (90%), with basic English used the remaining 10% of the time. Benefits and Salary

The starting hourly rate is $18.00/hour, with a maximum rate of $25.81/hour achievable through a progression that includes probation and a 48-month wage scale. Responsibilities

In this warehouse handler role, every shift contributes directly to UPS’s import operations in the greater Montreal area. The work is physical and methodical — you’ll be expected to execute tasks with care and consistency, following established handling procedures to protect both packages and people. Here’s what a typical shift looks like:

• Load and unload UPS packages from trailers and package cars with care and efficiency
• Sort and stock incoming parcels accurately based on postal codes and routing information
