About the Role: Package Handler – Early Morning
As a Package Handler, you’ll be at the heart of UPS’s daily operations — loading and unloading packages, sorting shipments, scanning items, and stocking trailers or package cars. You may also operate heavy machinery as part of your regular duties. This role is approximately 3 to 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, making it a solid fit for candidates looking for a part-time morning commitment.

Benefits and Salary

Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be responsible for keeping packages on the move through accurate loading, unloading, sorting, and scanning. Every task you complete contributes directly to on-time deliveries and a smooth-running operation at the Sherbrooke UPS facility.
- Load and unload UPS packages into trailers and package cars efficiently and safely
- Sort and scan packages according to destination and routing requirements
- Learn and apply UPS’s established package handling methods and best practices
- Stock packages in the appropriate areas of the facility
- Operate heavy machinery as required to complete assigned tasks
- Perform additional tasks as assigned in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Requirements / Skills

- Physical capability to lift packages up to 70 lbs. / 32 kg on a regular basis
- Ability to read and memorize postal codes for accurate sorting and routing

- Availability for early morning shifts from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM, with a minimum of 3 hours per day
