This is a Regular/Permanent position that plays a key role in keeping the store ready for customers each morning — from unloading trailers to stocking shelves and labelling the sales floor.

About the Role: Overnight Associate

As an Overnight Associate at Walmart Winnipeg, your primary focus is the flow of merchandise from receiving through to the sales floor. You’ll unload trailers, pull pallets, process stock, and assist with setting features and signage — all done overnight so the store is fully stocked and organized by opening time. The overnight shift places a stronger emphasis on labelling and placing merchandise in backroom bins compared to day or evening fulfillment roles.

Teamwork and communication are central to how overnight shifts run at Walmart. You’ll collaborate with your team to strategically plan and execute workload based on operational priorities. Maintaining a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment is part of the job too — including completing safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $16.15 per hour. • Set, merchandise, and sign features throughout the store
• Stock the sales floor as assigned and provide customer service when needed
• Label the sales floor in preparation for store opening
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment by following company policies, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure
