Walmart Canada’s Winnipeg Supercenter location is looking for a Stockperson/Cartpusher to join the store team at 35 Lakewood Blvd. This is a regular/permanent, hourly position that plays a hands-on role in keeping the store running smoothly — from managing shopping carts to supporting customer service and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

About the Role: Stockperson/Cartpusher

At the core of this position is cart management — collecting carts from the parking lot, cart corrals, and store perimeter, then returning them to designated storage areas using Walmart-approved procedures. But the role goes beyond that. You’ll respond to requests from registers and customer service, assist customers with carry-outs and carry-ins, and verify receipts when needed. Occasional cleaning and maintenance duties, including restrooms, are also part of the job.

Safety is central to everything in this role. You’ll follow hazardous communication, lockout/tagout, and bloodborne pathogen guidelines, complete equipment inspections before use, wear required personal protective equipment (including steel-toe footwear and a reflective vest), and conduct regular safety sweeps. This is a physically demanding position that involves standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting up to 20 lbs. regularly, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Benefits and Salary

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $16.15 per hour. • Perform cleaning and maintenance duties, including restrooms, following proper chemical handling, disposal procedures, and safe use of power equipment
• Complete equipment inspections before each use and follow all established maintenance and safety guidelines
• Adhere to safety and emergency protocols including hazardous communication, lockout/tagout, and bloodborne pathogen guidelines
• Wear required personal protective equipment (steel-toe footwear and reflective vest), complete safety sweeps, and uphold Company policies to maintain a safe, clean workplace
• Adapt to a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support consistent store operations
