About the Role: General Merchandise Associate

As a General Merchandise Associate, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the general merchandise area of the store — ensuring products are properly stocked, zoned, and displayed according to planograms. You’ll assist customers with product selection, help locate merchandise, and contribute to an overall positive shopping experience that keeps customers coming back.

This role also involves supporting team coverage across the sales floor and Front End when needed. Responsibilities

Working as a General Merchandise Associate at Walmart means balancing customer-facing service with behind-the-scenes stocking and merchandising tasks. Every shift contributes directly to a clean, well-stocked store that helps Canadian shoppers find what they need quickly and easily.
