Overnight Associate – Walmart – Windsor, ON

Walmart Canada’s Windsor location is looking for an Overnight Associate to join their in-store team at 7100 Tecumseh Rd E. This is a temporary (fixed term) position that plays an essential role in getting the store floor ready before customers arrive each morning — keeping shelves stocked, merchandise flowing, and the environment safe and organized.

About the Role: Overnight Associate

The core purpose of this position is to move merchandise efficiently from receiving through to the sales floor, all while maintaining a clean and hazard-free workspace. You’ll be part of a coordinated overnight team, strategically planning and executing duties based on workload demands and store operational needs.

What sets the overnight role apart from day or evening positions is a stronger focus on backroom labelling, placing merchandise into the correct bins, and ensuring everything is in place for store opening. Teamwork, communication, and flexibility are central to succeeding in this position.

Benefits and Salary

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $17.75 per hour. Responsibilities

As an Overnight Associate at Walmart Windsor, your shift is all about getting the store ready for the day ahead. From the moment you clock in, you’ll be contributing to a team effort that keeps products moving, the floor organized, and the environment safe for both customers and colleagues.

• Prepare the sales floor for store opening each shift
• Set and merchandise features, including proper signing and labelling of the sales floor
• Unload trailers and complete live unloading of various merchandise types
• Pull pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing
• Label and stock backroom bins with incoming merchandise — a key focus of the overnight role
• Stock the sales floor as assigned and provide customer service when needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment in accordance with company policy, including completing safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure
