Overnight Associate – Walmart – Vaughan, ON

Walmart Canada’s Vaughan location is looking for an Overnight Associate to join their in-store team at 1900 Major Mackenzie Drive. About the Role: Overnight Associate

The primary purpose of this position is to support the flow of merchandise from receiving through to the sales floor. You’ll be part of a coordinated overnight team that plans and executes tasks based on workload and operational needs. This includes everything from pulling pallets and unloading trailers to labelling merchandise and preparing the floor for store opening.

What sets this role apart from day or evening fulfillment positions is the stronger emphasis on backroom organization, including labelling merchandise and placing products into the correct backroom bins. You’ll also contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following company policies and completing required safety documentation.

Benefits and Salary

This position starts at a minimum rate of $17.75 per hour. Responsibilities

The overnight shift at Walmart is all about preparation and precision. Your work directly impacts whether customers find what they need the moment doors open. From the warehouse to the sales floor, every task plays a role in keeping the store running smoothly.

• Prepare the sales floor for store opening each morning, ensuring it’s fully stocked and properly labelled
• Set and merchandise features, including signing and display placement
• Unload trailers and complete live unloading of various merchandise types
• Pull pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing
• Label merchandise and place products into the correct backroom bins — a key focus of this overnight role
• Stock the sales floor as assigned and provide customer service when required
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following company policies, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring fixtures and displays are secure
