Job Summary & Tips for Applying
Quick Summary & What to Highlight: This is a seasonal Order Filler Picker job at DHL Supply Chain in Calgary, working an afternoon shift from Monday to Friday. Put your warehouse experience first, since it is preferred, then any work that involved lifting up to 50 lbs and counting or checking stock, which matches the inventory duties.
Resume & Application Tips: List past picking, packing, shipping or stockroom work and say what you handled, such as orders or inventory counts. If you have used a handheld scanner or pick sheets before, name that on your resume, because the job uses both. A measurable example shows the format well: “Filled about 120 orders per shift with a 99% accuracy rate.” Note your afternoon shift availability too, as the hours run until 12:15am.
Interview Preparation: Prepare one or two real examples of picking or counting work where you caught an error or kept a work area safe and tidy. Be ready to answer how you would manage a 4:15pm to 12:15am shift, and how you handle regular lifting. Since the work is seasonal, you could ask how long the position is expected to last and whether the start date is fixed.
