About the Role: Order Filler Picker

As an Order Filler Picker, you’ll be responsible for the safe, secure, and accurate filling of customer orders within the warehouse. Using pick sheets or a handheld computer, you’ll retrieve product from bins and shelves, count inventory, and transport completed orders to shipping locations using non-powered material handling equipment.

Keeping the work area clean, neat, orderly, and safe is a core expectation of this role. You’ll also assist with physical inventories and contribute to the overall smooth operation of the warehouse floor — making attention to detail and a dependable work ethic essential day to day.

Benefits and Salary

This position pays $21.50 per hour, with a $1.00 shift differential for afternoon shifts. Full-time associates are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and dental coverage, standard Long-Term Disability, basic life insurance, and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance. Short-term disability coverage is also included. Optional benefits include additional life and AD&D insurance, critical illness coverage (including dependents), and retirement savings options through DCPP, RRSP, and TFSA plans. Responsibilities

Working on the warehouse floor, the Order Filler Picker plays a direct role in getting customer orders out accurately and on time. Every task in this position supports order accuracy, inventory integrity, and the safe movement of product throughout the facility.

• Pick customer orders efficiently, ensuring the correct number and type of product is selected and prepared for shipment
• Count product inventory accurately by location to support stock management
• Transport orders to shipping locations using non-powered material handling equipment
• Assist with physical inventories as required
• Maintain a clean, neat, orderly, and safe work area at all times
• Obtain merchandise from bins or shelves using pick sheets or a handheld computer

Requirements / Skills

The ideal candidate for this Order Filler Picker role is someone who is reliable, physically capable, and comfortable working in a warehouse setting. DHL values candidates who take pride in accuracy and can keep pace in a high-volume environment.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent — preferred
• 0–12 months of warehouse experience — preferred; 6 months of warehouse experience is an asset
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift
• Comfort working afternoon or day shifts on a four-day-per-week schedule
