Job Summary & Tips for Applying

AI-generated summary and tips to help you highlight your strengths effectively.

Quick Summary & What to Highlight: The Casual Courier Driver position at DHL Express in Mirabel combines van-based delivery routes with warehouse sorting and freight processing duties. A candidate applying should put bilingualism in French and English (with proof ready), a valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean record, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs at the top of their resume, since all three are direct requirements for the daily work.

Resume & Application Tips: Mirror the posting’s own language: write out warehouse functions experience, MS Office and Excel proficiency, and any courier or customer service background clearly, since these are all listed requirements. If you have warehouse or customer service experience, note the length and the type of tasks you handled. A measurable example helps here: for instance, “Sorted and processed an average of 300 parcels per shift with zero missort errors over six months” shows the kind of accuracy this role asks for. Have a language proficiency document ready before you start the application.

Interview Preparation: Prepare a concrete example of a time you completed time-sensitive deliveries or warehouse tasks under pressure, since the posting lists demonstrated ability to work under tight time constraints as a requirement. Be ready to confirm your shift availability between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and your comfort with a casual schedule. A reasonable question to ask is what the typical number of shifts per week looks like for casual drivers currently on the roster, since the posting does not state an expected frequency.
