Job Summary & Tips for Applying

AI-generated summary and tips to help you highlight your strengths effectively.

Quick Summary & What to Highlight: The Casual Courier Driver position at DHL Express in Brampton combines van delivery with warehouse freight handling, paying $23.33/hour on a casual basis. Candidates should put their valid G licence and clean driving record first, followed by warehouse experience tied to sorting, scanning and moving freight.

Resume & Application Tips: Mirror the posting’s own language: list your Class 5 G licence prominently and note any warehouse or customer service experience in years. If you have used warehouse scanning systems or worked with tight delivery deadlines, describe those duties specifically. A measurable example helps, for instance: “Processed an average of 120 parcels per shift with zero missorts over a six-month period.” Present this as a format to adapt, not a number to copy.

Interview Preparation: Be ready to describe a time you completed deliveries or warehouse tasks under tight time constraints, and another example of handling a difficult customer interaction. Because this is a casual position with no set schedule between 7am and 10pm, have a clear answer about your availability across that window. A reasonable question to ask is what a typical casual shift looks like in terms of length and how shifts are assigned.
