About the Role: Order Filler Picker

As an Order Filler Picker at DHL Supply Chain in Calgary, your primary focus is fulfilling customer orders safely, accurately, and on time. Using pick sheets or a handheld computer, you’ll pull products from bins and shelves, verify counts, and move orders to shipping areas using non-powered material handling equipment. This is hands-on work in a structured warehouse environment.

Beyond picking orders, you’ll also play a role in maintaining inventory accuracy, assisting with physical inventory counts, and keeping your work area orderly and hazard-free. Working within a team that prioritizes safety and accountability, you’ll be expected to follow procedures consistently and communicate effectively with your crew.

Benefits and Salary

This seasonal position pays $21.50/hour plus a $1.00/hour shift differential, bringing your effective rate to $22.50/hour. Responsibilities

Day-to-day work in this role revolves around accurate order fulfilment and maintaining the flow of goods through the warehouse. Every task you complete has a direct impact on customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of DHL’s supply chain operations.

• Pick customer orders efficiently, ensuring the correct quantity and type of product is selected and prepared for shipment
• Count product inventory accurately by location to maintain real-time stock accuracy
• Transport orders to shipping locations using non-powered material handling equipment
• Assist with physical inventories as required by the warehouse team
• Replenish stock using pick sheets or handheld computers to guide the process
• Maintain a clean, safe work area by following housekeeping standards and safety protocols at all times

Requirements / Skills

DHL is looking for candidates who are reliable, physically capable, and attentive to detail in a fast-paced warehouse setting. Prior experience in logistics or warehouse operations is an asset, though not strictly required for entry-level applicants.

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• 6 months of warehouse experience is preferred, though candidates with 0–12 months of experience will be considered
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs on a consistent, ongoing basis throughout the shift
• Ability to work the afternoon shift schedule (4:15 PM – 2:25 AM) on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays
• Strong attention to detail when counting inventory and verifying order accuracy
