About the Role: Order Filler Picker

As an Order Filler Picker at DHL Supply Chain in Calgary, your primary focus is the safe, accurate, and efficient picking of customer orders. Using pick sheets or a handheld computer, you’ll retrieve merchandise from bins and shelves, ensuring the correct product type and quantity is loaded and ready for shipment. This full-time position pays $22.50 per hour. Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of DHL’s warehouse operations in Calgary, making sure customer orders are picked accurately and on time. Day-to-day tasks are straightforward but require focus, physical stamina, and a commitment to following safety and quality standards.

  • Pick customer orders accurately using pick sheets or a handheld computer, ensuring the correct number and type of product is selected
  • Operate material handling equipment including hand carts and power jacks to transport orders to shipping locations
  • Replenish product by obtaining merchandise from bins or shelves as directed
  • Count product inventory accurately by location and assist in physical inventory counts
  • Maintain a clean, neat, orderly, and safe work area in accordance with DHL’s workplace standards
  • Load and ship orders while verifying the correct quantity and product type at every step

Requirements / Skills

DHL is looking for a dependable, safety-minded individual who can hit the ground running in a warehouse environment. Whether you’re just starting out or have some experience under your belt, the right attitude and work ethic matter most here. Having experience with material handling equipment will give you a strong advantage.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • 0 to 12 months of experience in a warehouse setting is preferred
  • 1 year of experience operating a reach truck, pallet jack, or sit-down forklift is considered an asset for this role
  • Ability to follow pick sheets and handheld computer instructions accurately and efficiently
  • Physical capability to handle the demands of a warehouse environment, including lifting and moving product
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and inventory counts
