About the Role: Order Filler Picker

As an Order Filler Picker, your primary responsibility is the safe, secure, and accurate filling of customer orders. You’ll be replenishing and picking product using pick sheets or a handheld computer, retrieving merchandise from bins and shelves to fulfil orders. Precision and pace both matter here — getting the right product to the right place on time is the core of this position.

You’ll also be expected to contribute to a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Transporting orders to shipping locations using non-powered material handling equipment, assisting with physical inventories, and maintaining accuracy in product counts are all part of the day-to-day. Teamwork and attention to workplace safety are foundational expectations in this role.

Benefits and Salary

This seasonal position pays $21.50 per hour on an afternoon shift schedule. Responsibilities

Working in DHL’s warehouse operation in Calgary, the Order Filler Picker keeps the supply chain moving by ensuring orders are pulled accurately and delivered to the right place at the right time. Your attention to detail and physical capability directly impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Here’s what a typical shift looks like:

• Pick customer orders efficiently, ensuring the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped
• Replenish product using pick sheets or handheld computer devices to navigate bin and shelf locations
• Count product inventory accurately by location to support inventory management
• Transport orders to shipping locations using non-powered material handling equipment
• Assist with physical inventories as required during the shift
• Maintain a clean, neat, orderly, and safe work area throughout every shift

Requirements / Skills

DHL is looking for candidates who are reliable, physically capable, and detail-oriented. While prior warehouse experience is preferred, the company welcomes candidates who are motivated to learn and contribute from day one. The ideal applicant will bring a strong work ethic and a commitment to workplace safety and accuracy.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 0 to 12 months of warehouse experience preferred; 6 months specifically in a warehouse setting is an asset
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift
• Comfort working afternoon shift hours (4:15pm to 2:25am, four days per week)
• Attention to detail when picking and verifying orders
• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace
