About the Role: Order Filler Picker

As an Order Filler Picker at DHL Supply Chain in Calgary, your core focus is the safe, secure, and accurate fulfilment of customer orders. Using pick sheets or a handheld computer, you’ll retrieve merchandise from bins and shelves, count inventory, and transport orders to shipping areas using non-powered material handling equipment. Every action you take directly supports on-time, accurate deliveries for DHL’s clients.

Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area is a key part of the job. You’ll also assist with physical inventory counts and play an active role in keeping warehouse operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on, physically active position that requires consistency, attention to detail, and a reliable work ethic.

Benefits and Salary

This seasonal position pays $21.50 per hour, plus a $1.00 afternoon shift differential. Full-time associates are eligible for a standard benefits package that includes medical and dental coverage, basic life insurance, accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term disability, and a standard long-term disability option. Responsibilities

Day-to-day, this role keeps DHL’s warehouse operations on track by ensuring every customer order is picked correctly and efficiently. From retrieving products to maintaining accurate inventory counts, each responsibility contributes to a reliable and smooth-running supply chain.

• Pick customer orders accurately using pick sheets or a handheld computer, ensuring the correct number and type of product is selected
• Pack and ship orders while verifying product accuracy before items leave the facility
• Count product inventory by location to maintain accurate stock records
• Transport orders to shipping areas using non-powered material handling equipment
• Assist with physical inventories as required by the warehouse team
• Replenish stock from bins and shelves in accordance with warehouse direction
• Maintain a clean and safe work area to uphold DHL’s standards for workplace safety and organization

Requirements / Skills

DHL Supply Chain is looking for candidates who are dependable, physically capable, and comfortable working in a structured warehouse setting. Whether you’re newer to the industry or have some hands-on experience, what matters most is a strong work ethic and a commitment to accuracy and safety.

• Warehouse experience — 6 months preferred; 0–12 months in a warehouse setting is acceptable
• Physical capability — must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs consistently throughout a shift
• Attention to detail — accuracy in picking and counting is essential to customer satisfaction
• Reliability — consistent attendance and performance on an afternoon shift schedule
• High School Diploma or equivalent — preferred but not mandatory
• Teamwork — ability to collaborate with a warehouse crew to meet daily operational targets
