Operations Supervisor – FedEx – Dorval, Quebec

This full-time Operations Supervisor position at FedEx Express is based at the Dorval, Quebec station (2000 Chemin St-François). The role carries frontline supervisory responsibility for daily sort operations and the assigned Cargo Handler team.

Responsibilities

The Operations Supervisor manages sort operations and Cargo Handler staff within the Dorval station. Duties cover the full cycle of daily sort activity, from directing work and handling packages correctly to resolving service failures and keeping processes compliant.

• Lead and guide Cargo Handlers in proper package handling, routing and recovery of potential service failures within the station sort function
• Mentor, coach and train employees, acting as a knowledge resource and supporting their development

Requirements / Skills

• Valid driver’s licence and a good driving record: a driving record with two or fewer violations and/or accidents in the 24 months prior to the date of application (required)
• Bilingual (French and English): required for candidates residing in the province of Quebec
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and to manoeuvre any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment (required)
• Ability to complete all basic and recurrency training, including obtaining and maintaining Dangerous Goods (DG) certification (required)
• Strong organizational, planning and analytical skills (required)
• EXCEL Leadership Development Stream (preferred)
