Job Summary & Tips for Applying
Quick Summary & What to Highlight: The Operations Supervisor – Distribution position at DHL Supply Chain in Milton pays $62,000–$75,000 with bonus potential and involves leading frontline warehouse associates and tracking operational KPIs. A candidate should put supervisory or lead experience in an operations setting and logistics industry background near the top of their resume, since those are the two qualifications the posting names most specifically, both tied directly to managing warehouse teams and reporting on performance.
Resume & Application Tips: The posting uses the phrase “lead/supervisor/management role” to describe the experience it values, so matching that language when describing past positions will help. If you have managed shift teams, assigned workloads, or reported on productivity metrics, spell those out with numbers where you can. For example, noting that you supervised a team of 12 associates and reduced pick errors by 15% over two quarters shows the kind of operational accountability this role requires. A brief mention of any health and safety compliance responsibility you’ve held is also worth including, given how prominently the posting features it.
Interview Preparation: Prepare a concrete example of a time you coached an underperforming associate or resolved a conflict within a warehouse team, since leading and developing frontline associates is the first duty listed. You should also be ready to walk through how you track and report on KPIs and operational metrics, with a real example if possible. Good questions to ask include how the team’s KPIs are currently structured, what tools are used for reporting, and what the typical shift schedule looks like for supervisors at this location, since the posting does not specify shift times.
