OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate – Walmart – Winnipeg, MB
Location: Winnipeg, MB | Company: Walmart
Walmart Canada’s Winnipeg location on Empress Street is looking for an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate to join their in-store team. This role sits at the intersection of retail operations and online order fulfillment — a fast-growing part of the business that keeps customers coming back. If you’re someone who takes pride in accuracy, works well under pressure, and enjoys being part of a hands-on team, this could be a solid fit.
Day to day, you’ll be picking, packing, and dispensing online grocery and merchandise orders with a sharp eye for quality and detail. From navigating temperature-controlled areas to labelling packages correctly, the work is varied and keeps you moving. You’ll also interact with customers directly, supporting them through any issues that come up — so a helpful, can-do attitude goes a long way.
About the Role: OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate
As an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate at Walmart Canada, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that online orders are picked, assembled, and packed to a high standard. This means working across different areas of the store — including various temperature zones — selecting the freshest products, and packing totes efficiently without compromising product quality. Attention to detail is critical: you’ll need to distinguish between similar products, verify quantities, and apply correct labels and documentation including pick slips and shipping labels.
Beyond picking and packing, this role involves maintaining a clean and organized work area, following food hygiene and safety standards, and operating material handling equipment safely after completing all required pre-inspection checks. You’ll also be expected to participate in continuous improvement initiatives — sharing ideas to improve efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. Flexibility is key, as schedules and work assignments can shift based on daily delivery demands.
Benefits and Salary
The minimum rate of pay starts at $16.15 per hour. Beyond wages, Walmart Canada offers a competitive benefits package that includes stock options, comprehensive health benefits (based on employment status), life insurance, paid time off, a store associate discount, access to the Live Better U education program, EQ Health support, and a Deferred Profit Sharing plan. Some benefits are tied to hours worked or full-time/part-time status.
