This is a hands-on position where you’ll be responsible for keeping the UPS vehicle fleet operating safely and efficiently. Working primarily indoors in a shop environment, you’ll perform diagnostic testing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles including diesel, propane, CNG, and gasoline-powered units.

About the Role: Automotive Mechanic 310T

As part of the UPS fleet maintenance team in Concord, your core focus will be ensuring that delivery vehicles are roadworthy and maintained to the highest standards. You’ll carry out inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a regular and timely basis, helping to minimize downtime across the fleet. You’ll also be required to operate and road-test company vehicles both within UPS facilities and on public roads, so a clean driver’s abstract is a must.

The work environment is fast-paced and structured around evening and night shifts, Monday to Friday or Wednesday to Saturday depending on your schedule. You’ll be expected to wear the UPS Auto Mechanic uniform and follow the company’s Appearance Guidelines while adhering to all workplace safety standards. This role is part of a unionized environment, meaning your pay progression is governed by the Collective Agreement.

Benefits and Salary

The starting wage for 310T licence holders is $42.29 per hour, with automatic pay progression as outlined in the union Collective Agreement. Employees receive weekly pay every Friday. Paid vacation scales from 2 weeks after 1 year of service up to 6 weeks after 25 years.
