UPS, a Fortune Global 500 company, is hiring a Night Warehouse Associate at its Concord, Ontario facility. About the Role: Night Warehouse Associate

As a Night Warehouse Associate at UPS Concord, your primary duties revolve around the movement and organization of packages within a warehouse and loading dock environment. You’ll be loading and unloading packages from delivery vehicles and trailers, sorting shipments by postal code, and following UPS’s established package handling methods. The work is hands-on and consistent, making it well-suited for someone who prefers an active role over a desk job.

Working conditions include exposure to varying temperatures inside the warehouse and outdoors. You’ll also work inside truck trailers and package delivery vehicles, so comfort in tight or enclosed spaces is important. This is a unionized position, meaning your rights and pay progression are protected under the existing Union Collective Agreement.

Benefits and Salary

The starting wage for this role is $18.15 per hour, with automatic pay progression as outlined in the Union Collective Agreement. UPS also offers a strong benefits package that includes tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 per semester (subject to eligibility), paid training, and weekly pay via direct deposit every Friday. After one year of service, you’ll gain access to extended health care benefits covering vision, health, life insurance, and dental, plus 2 weeks of paid vacation. Note that monthly union dues of approximately $52/month apply, along with a one-time $50 union initiation fee deducted after 90 working days.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be an essential part of UPS’s overnight operations, ensuring packages are accurately sorted and safely handled before they head out for delivery. Your work directly impacts on-time delivery performance and customer satisfaction across the region.

• Load and unload packages into and out of package delivery vehicles and trailers
• Sort and stock packages based on postal codes to ensure accurate routing

Requirements / Skills

UPS is looking for reliable, physically capable individuals who can commit to a consistent overnight schedule. No previous warehouse experience is needed — what matters most is your dependability, physical readiness, and willingness to follow established procedures and safety standards.

• Physical capability to lift up to 70 lbs. (35 kg) regularly throughout the shift
• Full availability Monday to Friday (all five workdays), with the ability to work 25 hours per week
• Ability to read and memorize postal codes for accurate package sorting
• Comfort working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
• Comfort working inside truck trailers and package delivery vehicles
• No prior warehouse experience required — paid training is provided
