Night Associate – Walmart – Pointe-Claire, QC
Location: Montreal, QC | Company: Walmart
Walmart’s Pointe-Claire location is looking for a Night Associate to join their overnight team. If you’re someone who takes pride in keeping shelves stocked, merchandise organized, and the store ready for customers each morning, this could be a solid fit. It’s hands-on, team-oriented work in a fast-moving retail environment.
Working overnight means you’ll play a key role in unloading trailers, moving merchandise from the backroom to the sales floor, and ensuring everything is labelled and properly placed before the store opens. The night crew operates with a strong focus on stocking, labelling, and backroom organization — setting the stage for a great customer experience the next day.
About the Role: Night Associate
As a Night Associate at Walmart Canada, your primary focus is on the overnight flow of merchandise — from the receiving dock all the way to the sales floor. You’ll be unloading trailers, pulling pallets, processing merchandise, and stocking shelves, all while working as part of a coordinated team. A key differentiator of this role compared to day or evening shifts is the greater emphasis on backroom binning, labelling, and floor preparation for store opening.
Maintaining a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment is central to this position. You’ll be expected to follow company health and safety policies, complete safety sweep logs, and ensure that all displays and fixtures are secure throughout your shift. Customer service may also be required as needed.
Benefits and Salary
The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $18.75 per hour. Walmart Canada also offers a range of benefits to support associates, including comprehensive benefits (based on employment status), life insurance, paid time off, a store discount, stock options, deferred profit sharing, access to the Live Better U education program, and support through EQ Health. Benefit eligibility may vary based on hours worked or full-time/part-time status.
