About the Role: Night Associate

As a Night Associate at Walmart Canada, your primary focus is on the overnight flow of merchandise — from the receiving dock all the way to the sales floor. You’ll be unloading trailers, pulling pallets, processing merchandise, and stocking shelves, all while working as part of a coordinated team. A key differentiator of this role compared to day or evening shifts is the greater emphasis on backroom binning, labelling, and floor preparation for store opening.

Maintaining a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment is central to this position. You’ll be expected to follow company health and safety policies, complete safety sweep logs, and ensure that all displays and fixtures are secure throughout your shift. Customer service may also be required as needed.

Benefits and Salary

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $18.75 per hour. • Unload trailers and complete live unloading of various types of merchandise
• Pull pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing
• Label merchandise and place products in the correct backroom bins — a key focus of the overnight role
• Stock the sales floor as assigned and provide customer service when required
• Label the sales floor to ensure it’s ready and organized for store opening
• Maintain a safe and clean environment by following company health and safety procedures, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure
