Material Handler – DHL – Lethbridge, AB
Location: Calgary, AB | Company: DHL
DHL Supply Chain is looking for a Material Handler to join their dedicated night shift team in Lethbridge, Alberta. This is a full-time position supporting one of the world’s most essential industries — global logistics — where you’ll work hands-on with aircraft engine kits and bulk parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Working four nights per week from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, this role puts you at the heart of an aircraft assembly supply chain. You’ll be picking, packing, receiving, and replenishing parts, operating powered equipment, and ensuring everything flows smoothly to the engine assembly line. If you’ve got warehouse experience and are ready for a consistent night schedule, this could be a strong fit.
About the Role: Material Handler
As a Material Handler at DHL in Lethbridge, you’ll be responsible for the physical movement of products throughout the facility — from receiving inbound shipments to picking and delivering carts directly to the engine assembly line. You’ll use RF scanning equipment, operate powered material handling equipment (including forklifts), and ensure all inventory is accurately tracked and staged.
This role requires strict attention to health and safety protocols and adherence to quality control standards. Because the facility works with products classified as controlled goods under the Government of Canada, all team members must be either a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident — no exceptions. Residency is verified during the screening process.
Benefits and Salary
This full-time position pays $22.75 per hour. DHL offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and dental coverage, basic life insurance, accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term and long-term disability, and paid time off (PTO) along with paid holidays. Optional benefits include DCPP, RRSP, and TFSA retirement savings plans, as well as optional life and critical illness insurance. DHL has been certified as a Great Place to Work® and Top Employer in Canada for the third year running.
