Costco’s Halifax warehouse on Chain Lake Drive is looking for a Loss Prevention Clerk to help protect company assets and maintain a safe shopping environment. This is a hands-on, active role for someone with a solid understanding of loss prevention practices, Canadian law, and a keen eye for detail.
Day to day, you’ll be walking the warehouse floor and perimeter, monitoring for safety and security concerns, engaging with suspects when necessary, and working closely with warehouse management and local law enforcement. About the Role: Loss Prevention Clerk

You’ll also be responsible for detaining and interviewing shoplifters, preparing detailed reports, and maintaining proper evidence files for any ongoing investigations.
Beyond frontline security, this role involves a collaborative element — you’ll be coaching and teaching loss prevention topics to fellow warehouse team members, and staying in regular contact with other Costco LP Clerks and local businesses to share information on regional theft trends. Following Costco’s established procedures alongside applicable provincial laws is essential in everything you do.
