Responsibilities

Each day as a letter carrier at Canada Post brings structure and purpose. From depot prep in the morning to route delivery throughout the day, you’ll be an essential part of keeping Quesnel connected. Here’s what you can expect on the job:

Requirements / Skills

Canada Post is looking for candidates who are physically capable, reliable, and ready to work in all conditions. Whether you have a background in customer service, driving, or delivery work, your attitude and commitment matter just as much as your experience.

  • Valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s licence with a clean driving record of at least 3 years (driver’s abstract required)
  • Physical fitness to lift items up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) regularly throughout the day
  • Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions year-round
  • On-call availability as required by the temporary employment arrangement
  • English language proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking); French is an asset
  • Customer service experience is an asset
  • Delivery or driving experience is a definite advantage
