About the Role: General Merchandise Associate
As a General Merchandise Associate at Walmart Canada, your main focus is delivering excellent customer service while maintaining the appearance and functionality of your assigned area on the sales floor. You’ll be stocking shelves, zoning merchandise, moving feature products to their modular homes, and working recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk. The role also involves assisting with Front End coverage and communicating with fellow associates to ensure the floor is always properly covered.
Beyond keeping shelves full and customers served, you’ll play an active role in maintaining a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment. This includes completing safety sweep logs, ensuring displays and fixtures are secure, and following all company policies and procedures. You’ll also set and complete modulars — including flex modulars — and apply product protection as required.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $16.15 per hour.
