About the Role: General Merchandise Associate
As a General Merchandise Associate, your core focus is maintaining a well-stocked, well-organized salesfloor while delivering excellent customer service. You’ll cover assigned areas, zone merchandise, move feature products to their modular homes, and assist with recovery from the Customer Service desk. You’ll also pitch in with Front End coverage when needed and communicate with teammates to keep floor coverage consistent throughout your shift.
Keeping the store safe, clean, and hazard-free is a key part of this job. You’ll follow Walmart’s company policies and procedures, complete safety sweep logs, and make sure displays and fixtures are secure at all times. The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $16.15 per hour. Responsibilities
