About the Role: F/T Service Provider
As a Service Provider at UPS Dieppe, your primary focus is the delivery and pickup of packages to and from homes and businesses throughout your assigned area. This is a physically demanding position that involves continual lifting, lowering, and carrying of packages — some weighing up to 70 lbs./32 kgs. — so physical stamina is essential to succeeding in this role.
Beyond the physical side, this role demands a strong commitment to safe driving practices and customer service excellence. You’ll be trained on UPS’s safe driving methods and are expected to follow all transportation safety standards while on the road. Responsibilities
Each day as a UPS Service Provider revolves around getting packages where they need to go — safely, efficiently, and on time. Your work directly impacts the customer experience, making dependability and attention to detail critical parts of the job.
- Deliver and pick up packages to and from residential and commercial properties on your assigned route
- Execute UPS safe driving methods as learned during training, following all transportation safety guidelines
- Lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs./32 kgs. throughout the course of each shift
- Maintain professionalism by complying with UPS appearance guidelines at all times
- Provide excellent customer contact at every stop, representing UPS’s standard of service
- Work a consistent schedule of 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, starting at 10 AM
