About the Role: Front End Checkout Team Associate
As a Front End Checkout Team Associate at Walmart Winkler, your primary focus is processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll also support customers in using self-checkout options correctly and efficiently.

When situations arise that need escalation, you’ll refer customers and transactional issues to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead.

Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be a central part of the customer experience at the front end of the store. From processing transactions to helping shoppers navigate self-checkout, your work directly impacts how customers feel about their visit to Walmart Winkler.
- Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner at the checkout
- Process all purchase transactions in a timely and efficient manner, including deactivation of merchandise under the EAS Program

- Follow safe work practices including proper lifting techniques and keeping a clean work area

- Refer appropriate service and transactional matters to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead as needed
