This is a permanent, full-time position working approximately 30 hours per week across a rotating schedule that includes mornings, days, evenings, and weekends. About the Role: Food Counter Attendant

As a Food Counter Attendant, your day revolves around keeping things moving smoothly behind the counter. You’ll be taking orders, preparing food items, and serving customers at the counter — all while maintaining the speed and consistency that guests expect at Tim Hortons. You’ll also handle food packaging and portioning, stock supplies, and keep your station clean and organized.

Working in a fast-paced food service environment means you’ll need to stay focused, work well with your teammates, and follow food handling standards closely. The role is entirely on site — all work is performed at the physical restaurant location in Athabasca.

Benefits and Salary

This position pays between $15.50 and $16.50 per hour (to be negotiated), working approximately 30 hours per week. Responsibilities

As a Food Counter Attendant at Tim Hortons, your responsibilities span everything from customer service to food preparation and station upkeep. Every task plays a role in delivering a consistent, quality experience to guests visiting the Athabasca location.

• Take customers’ orders at the counter accurately and efficiently
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items according to Tim Hortons standards
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables in a friendly and timely manner
• Package take-out food and portion and wrap foods properly for guests
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure items are always available
• Keep records of the quantities of food used throughout the shift
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs as needed

Requirements / Skills
