Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll handle a wide range of tasks that keep the restaurant running efficiently and customers satisfied. From food prep and order-taking to cleaning and restocking, your contributions directly impact the quality of every guest’s experience at Tim Hortons.
- Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, and portion and wrap foods for service
- Operate the cash register and electronic food dispensers
- Package take-out food and replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, appliances, and equipment
- Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and load buspans and trays
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards
- Remove kitchen garbage and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
- Handle and store cleaning products safely and properly
