About the Role: Food Counter Attendant

As a Food Counter Attendant, your daily responsibilities will cover a range of tasks that keep the restaurant operating efficiently. You’ll be taking customer orders, preparing and packaging food items, and ensuring that the counter and dining area remain clean and organized throughout your shift.

This position demands the ability to work under pressure in a physically demanding environment, often while standing for extended periods. You’ll be expected to be dependable, punctual, and capable of juggling multiple tasks at once — all while maintaining a positive attitude and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Benefits and Salary

This position offers a wage of $17.85 to $18.15 per hour (to be negotiated), with 32 to 40 hours per week and overtime availability. • Take customers’ orders accurately and with a friendly, attentive manner
• Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items in line with Tim Hortons standards
• Portion and wrap foods and package take-out orders efficiently
• Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a tidy dining area
• Load buspans and trays to keep the service flow moving
• Keep records of quantities of food used throughout the shift
• Handle and store cleaning products safely and responsibly
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash to uphold hygiene and cleanliness standards
