About the Role: Food Counter Attendant

As a Food Counter Attendant at Tim Hortons Quarry Ridge, you’ll be on the front lines of the customer experience — greeting guests, filling orders, and making sure everything runs smoothly at the counter and buffet area. The position involves both food preparation and customer-facing service, giving you a well-rounded role in a busy quick-service setting.

You’ll work alongside teammates to keep the refrigerators and salad bars stocked, handle packaging and portioning, and use both manual and electrical appliances for food prep tasks. Accuracy and consistency matter here — keeping proper records of food quantities is part of the job, and maintaining a clean, organized station ensures smooth service throughout every shift.

Benefits and Salary

This position offers a wage of $16.00 to $17.00 per hour (to be negotiated), with approximately 30 hours per week. Responsibilities

In this role, your day-to-day work centres on food preparation, counter service, and maintaining a well-stocked workspace. Whether you’re wrapping an order, serving a customer, or keeping tabs on inventory, each task plays a direct part in keeping the team running efficiently and guests satisfied.

• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables in a timely and friendly manner
• Take orders accurately and relay them appropriately
• Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items according to standard procedures
• Portion and wrap foods for counter and take-out service
• Package take-out orders with care and accuracy
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars to maintain product availability throughout the shift
• Keep records of the quantities of food used during the shift
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs safely
